"New Day New Opportunity" - Perspectives of a College Student with Autism

A follow-up interview is here:

  1. Thanks for creating this blog. My son Connor was diagnosed in August with Autism. It has been a long and challenging journey for our family, and we need all the support we can get.

  2. I like it when he said that he was proud of it. I've been diagnosed with high functioning autism since age 7. And I'm proud of what I am. Check out may blog at

  3. You should be proud of who you are, Chris. Autism has a lot of positives. Some I've noticed with my son are: resiliency, focus on detail, amazing visual memory, patience, determination, and perseverance.
